Terms & Policies
Please carefully read the after-sales terms regarding warranty policies and principles.
About Warranty Period
※ The warranty period for the complete machine and other related products starts from the day you receive the goods.
※ If your ENGINEAI product is out of warranty, you can still receive assistance by purchasing additional services.
※ During the warranty period, any unauthorized modifications, disassembly, or casing opening will void the warranty immediately.
Repair Conditions
According to specific circumstances, we will provide repair or part replacement for your purchased ENGINEAI products.
However, the following situations are not covered by the free warranty:
The product is beyond the warranty period.
Damage caused by improper use by the user (such as dropping, crushing, liquid immersion, violent use, etc.).
Malfunctions caused by the use of non-original parts.
Damage caused by human factors not related to the product's quality.
Damage resulting from unauthorized modifications, disassembly, or casing opening.
Damage caused by incorrect installation, use, or operation not in accordance with the user manual.
Damage caused by self-repair or part replacement without official instructions.
Damage caused by improper use of circuit modifications, battery packs, or chargers not guided by the official manual.
Damage caused by operating in harsh environments, including but not limited to strong magnetic interference, rainy weather, sand and dust, wetlands, and complex terrain.
Damage resulting from operation on sharp or highly uneven terrain.
Damage caused by using the robot on surfaces with very low friction (such as ice or glass).
Damage from falls, except when operating on relatively flat terrain.
Damage caused by the robot colliding with people or objects in complex environments.
Damage resulting from operating in situations where interference occurs with other wireless devices, such as WiFi or electromagnetic interference.
Damage caused by overloading beyond the safe weight limit.
Damage from applying violent or non-violent force beyond the robot's interference resistance limits.
Damage caused by using non-original battery packs without authorization.
Damage due to compatibility and reliability issues when used with third-party products.
Damage resulting from forcing the robot to operate with aging or damaged parts.
Damage caused by insufficient discharge due to low battery power or using defective battery packs.
Failure to send the relevant items within the specified time after contacting ENGINEAI for warranty service.
Damage resulting from operational errors, such as the robot hitting hard objects, falling, or showing obvious signs of impact or scratches on its surface.
There are clear signs of dust, sand, water, or metal particles intrusion inside the robot.
The robot shows clear signs of water stains on its surface and interior, with components and circuit boards showing corrosion due to use in a humid environment.
In developer mode, users using their own programs to conduct high-level or low-level development on the robot may cause damage. This includes: during high-level development, if a user controls the robot using their own vision system and the robot collides with sharp objects or falls from a height, causing damage; during low-level development, if a user-controlled motor hits joint limits or causes other impacts or high-speed motor vibrations, leading to damage.
Other Provisions
You must cover the shipping costs when sending the product to ENGINEAI.
After ENGINEAI receives the product that requires warranty service, we will conduct a diagnostic test to determine the issue and responsibility. If the problem is due to a product quality defect, ENGINEAI will cover the inspection fee, material cost, labor fee, and return shipping cost.
If the diagnostic test shows that the product does not qualify for free repair, you can choose to pay for the repair or have the original product returned, in which case you will be responsible for the return shipping cost.
If the issue with the product is outside the warranty coverage, we will charge the corresponding inspection fee, replacement part fee, testing fee, labor fee, and shipping costs based on the specific problem.
Product repairs may result in data loss; please back up your data beforehand.
Do not return severely damaged battery packs; if such packs are returned, ENGINEAI will dispose of them and will not return them.
